Glyfada Beach

Glyfada beach is situated in the southern Peloponnese, 6 km north east of Gytheio. This idyllic location is the ideal place to stay for a few hours or even a few days. Relaxing in the beachside taverna over a cold beer or two, seems almost too perfect. The white sands are dominated by the burnt out carcass of the Dimitros shipwreck. The warm clear sea is welcoming, and a morning run through its surf can only be completed by diving into it to cool down. If you are looking for a sandy, picturesque and relatively quiet beach, you couldn’t go far wrong with Glyfada beach.
